While this overview of the disciple-making process is primarily intended to be used as an assessment tool to guide those discipling others, it can also be helpful in self-assessment. A disciple can determine where they fall in any given category and know better what they might need to grow toward greater spiritual maturity, ministry or mission.

DISCERNING GOD’S WILL BY TRAVELING THE SEVEN “C’S”

The best way to know God’s will is to have an intimate relationship with him. However, guidelines for discerning what he wants can be helpful in the process. This resource offers both personal assistance and steps for communal discernment.

FOR SOLITUDE AND REFLECTION: “GARDEN VARIETY”

Using four photos and a series of questions, you are invited to assess the “garden” of your life. Several Scripture passages are given for meditation and encouragement to help you dwell in the truth and on the One who makes us righteous and “green.”

IDENTITY THEFT: RECOVERING WHO YOU ARE

This half-day workshop is designed to help you deepen your identity in Christ and your intimacy with him. Through teaching and experiential activities, you will be able to identify the challenges of identity, understand the strongholds in your life, and engage in a prayer process to address ungodly beliefs and receive God’s truth.

CONNECTING WITH GOD: A GUIDE TO THE DISCIPLINE OF SOLITUDE AND REFLECTION

This booklet is intended to facilitate the time you set aside to be alone with God. It contains guidelines for those new to the disciplines and includes six brief Scripture passages with comments and questions for personal reflection.

DISCOVERY BIBLE LEARNING: AN INDUCTIVE APPROACH FOR SMALL GROUPS

This handbook was developed as a six-session small group series to train Bible study leaders. The goal is help others facilitate in such a way that the outcome is the development of biblically informed and biblically formed people of God who are transformed and shaped by his Word, able to study the Bible on their own.
